Greetings in the name of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.
The spring and fall 2012 Lay Speaker’s Classes are tentatively
scheduled as follows:
Saturdays starting at 9:00am until 12:30 PM at Stone Mountain First United Methodist Church, 5312 West Mountain Street,
Stone Mountain, GA 30083 phone (770) 469-9767.
Both sessions will have a BASIC class with advanced classes, "Leading
in Lay Pastoral Care" and "From your Heart to Theirs" in the spring and "Living our United Methodist Beliefs"
and "Leading Small Groups" in the fall.
Spring classes - April 14, 21, 28, and May 5.
Fall classes - September 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Please note, the dates and
times of the Lay Speaker Classes may be changed without notice.
On line registration will begin as the starting date of the classes
near. Please check back in the spring of 2012 for open on line registrations.
